Blepharoplasty

Description

On the upper eyelids, it removes the excess skin, which in turn provides a brighter look and relieves headaches. On the lower eyelids, it removes fat compartments that lead to give saggy eyes, eliminates excess skin, and tightens the lids. It can be performed under local anesthesia with sedation.

Procedure Facts

Takes about 30 min for the upper eyelids and about one hour for the upper and lower eyelids. The eyes are covered for two (2) hours after surgery.

Side Effect

Mild swelling and bruises are expected for 3 to 4 days. Stitches are removed 5 to 7 days after surgery. Wearing black glasses is recommended for 2 months.
