Blepharoplasty and Rhinoplasty are among the most common surgical facial procedures. Blepharoplasty removes the excess skin on the upper eyelids, which in turn provides a brighter look and relieves headaches. On the lower eyelids it removes fat compartments that lead to saggy eyes, eliminates excess skin and tightens the lids. It can be performed under local anesthesia with sedation. This procedure takes approximately 30 minutes for the upper eyelids and 60 minutes for the both upper and lower eyelids. The eyes are covered for 2 hours post surgery. Mild swelling and bruises are to be expected for no longer than 3 to 4 days. Stitches are removed 5 to 7 days after surgery.
Rhinoplasty: the nose job! It eliminates imperfections in the nose and results in either a natural-looking nose or a custom-made look depending on the patient's request. Rhinoplasty takes 30 to 50 minutes and can be performed under local anesthesia with sedation. Mild to moderate swelling and bruises are expected 5 to 7 days post surgery. A cast will be placed on the nose for 1 week.
